Monitor 2 It has been developed for a while now. While the actual announcement of the sequel was back at Blizzcon in 2019, to some ardent fans, it appears the game has been in development for much longer. Thankfully, the wait to see more details about the game is almost over, as the first multiplayer beta is less than a week away.
From April 26, a select group of players will be able to play a multiplayer game Monitor 2. However, it is not all good news from the developer. While the wait for some excited fans is about to end, it looks like they’ll have to keep waiting to see some characters in Monitor 2 Redesign.
Recently, a developer at Blizzard revealed that at least many heroes won’t receive a redesign of their new hero in time for the beta. According to Andy Belford, Community Manager at Note and watch, two of the iconic heroes, Domfest and Orissa, will not wear their new looks in the game’s beta test. “Just to manage expectations here, Orisa and Doomfist’s new looks aren’t quite as ready to feature in a game theater as we usually do,” Belford commented.
Interestingly, this news comes after Blizzard announced that Orisa and Doomfist are making major alterations Monitor 2. Fortunately, it looks like players will still be able to see these character modifications in action. According to the developer, although these heroes will not be remastered, they will be showing off their new kits. With that in mind, players should still be able to get a good idea of the gameplay for the upcoming sequel.
However, this news regarding the lack of a hero redesign for some characters is undoubtedly disappointing for some players, especially those who enjoy playing Doomfist and Orisa. It’s also troubling to realize that there are likely to be other heroes who won’t feature their redesign in beta. “You will see in the beta that they, along with some of the other heroes, will still have what we call their 1.0 appearance,” Belford said. Not every character has been shown a redesign, which means there are some characters that Blizzard hasn’t revealed yet about in a new look. Based on this news, fans may have to wait longer than the beta release on April 26 to see several of these Monitor 2 Redesign.
It will be interesting to see the reception of this beta version of Monitor 2 Once some fans finally get a chance to try it out in a few more days. For those who are unable to participate in this first beta test, the game is expected to have additional beta versions in the coming days which are supposed to be open to more players. Hopefully, these other demos will allow players to see the redesign of other characters in the game.
