Tesla Corporation (NASDAQ: TSLA) Chief Executive Officer Elon Muskstartup Neuralink Brain chip could help treat morbid obesity. This is what Musk believes in. Echoing Musk, scientists say it’s not impossible.
In response to a Twitter post on the same line, Musk said this is possible, and his company is working on challenges such as reversing paralysis.
Certainly financially possible.
We are working to bridge the severed links between the brain and the body.
Neuronal connections in the sensory and motor cortex that connect the weak/broken connections in the neck/spine to the Neuralinks in the spinal cord should theoretically be able to restore full-body functions.

Musk also described the challenges of developing the Neuralink device, and invited people with special skills to join his company.
It is an electronics / mechanical / software engineering problem of the Neuralink that is similar in complexity to a smart watch (which is not easy!), as well as the surgical robot, which is comparable to the latest CNC machines.
No need to use AI/NN/ML completely yet.

Neuralink is developing a microchip that will be implanted into a person’s skull. Small wires equipped with electrodes travel from the device to the brain, allowing it to read and stimulate brain functions. Musk also believes that Neuralink can treat some neurological disorders.
The current generation of Neuralinks can help to some extent, but advanced cases of Alzheimer’s often involve total brain degeneration.
However, Neuralinks should theoretically be able to restore almost any function lost due to *local* damage to the brain from stroke or injury.

In February, the US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service began investigating allegations of harsh treatment of macaques used to test Neuralink’s technology. The investigation began after a complaint filed by the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Last year, Musk released a video showing a macaque playing a video game, just with ideas, using a neural implant.
Neuralink said it hopes to begin human trials later this year.
