Two sequels to Joaquin Phoenix?

Since his debut in the 80s, Joaquin Phoenix has demonstrated his talent as a translator time and time again. The 45-year-old actor could also count several devotions to his credit, but recently, he made a lot of noise in “Joker” by Todd Philips.

The film was released two years ago, and was praised by audiences and critics alike, particularly for playing Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, the famous Dark Night’s nemesis. His performance, considered impressive, earned him several awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, and an Academy Award for Best Actor.

Well, fans will be pleased to know that Joaquin Phoenix can once again slip into the Joker’s skin… for two custom character sequences and not just one!

Talks are still going on…

According to information published by The Mirror, Warner Bros. would like to dedicate two more films to Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. And so the 45-year-old actor is asked to play Arthur Fleck again and follow the deterioration that will lead the character to become the psychopathic clown who gives Batman a hard time in almost all of his adventures!

But against all odds, Joaquin Phoenix didn’t say yes. You might not know it, but the actor hesitated for a long time before finally agreeing to star in the first film, and it seems that he intends to do the same with the two sequel projects.

According to The Mirror, talks are currently underway between Warner Bros and Joaquin Phoenix. The production house plans to sign a long-term contract with the actor, but also with director Todd Phillips and producer Bradley Cooper.
